Inside

Open plan, and built for long evenings

The living and dining space runs the width of the cottage, with the wood burning stove at one end and the kitchen at the other. There is a smart TV in the living area and a flatscreen in every bedroom, free WiFi throughout, and a pair of binoculars on the sill for spotting otters and seals along the shore.

The kitchen is a serious one: a Belling five-ring dual fuel range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, and a coffee pod machine with complimentary pods. Cook for six without anyone getting in the way.

Outside

Your own hot tub, and that view

The decking wraps around the front of the cottage with an outdoor table and chairs and a private hot tub, looking out over the garden to the loch and the hills beyond. It is included in the rate and open all year round, which makes a cold clear night one of the better reasons to come in winter.
