Five architect-designed beach houses along the shore at Kentallen, each with its own private hot tub on glass-fronted decking and underfloor heating throughout. Between them they sleep seven to nine, so there is a size to fit most groups.

Inside

Open plan living on the water

Each house is built around an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge with views over Loch Linnhe, comfortable sofas and a smart TV. The kitchens come properly equipped: American-style fridge freezer with ice maker, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washer-dryer, and everything you need to cook for a full house.

Underfloor heating runs throughout, fed by an eco-friendly heat pump, so the houses are as warm in January as they are bright in June.

Outside

Your own hot tub on the decking

Step straight out of the living area onto your private glass-fronted decking, with an outdoor table and your own hot tub looking over the loch. It is included in the rate, open all year round, and completely private to your house.

The biggest of the five, sleeping 9 in 4 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. One ground floor bedroom opens straight onto the hot tub decking, and the master has a glass-fronted balcony with panoramic sea views.

The beach houses are dog-friendly, from £15 per dog per night, and every house has enclosed glass-fronted decking to keep them close. The beach is right outside for morning sniffs, and dogs are welcome in the Captain's Bar too.

The five beach houses line the shore just along from the hotel, with parking right behind them and easy access to the pool, bar and restaurant.

The Holly Tree next door

Staying in a beach house includes free use of the indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub spa at the Holly Tree Hotel, open 9am till 10pm with no booking needed. The Captain's Bar and the seafood restaurant are a short walk from your door.
